United Lincolnshire Hospitals NHS Trust goes LIVE with Blood360.cloud

United Lincolnshire Hospitals NHS Trust is the latest Hospital network to go “Cloud” with its upgrade of Blood360.

United Lincolnshire Hospitals NHS Trust is comprised of Lincoln County Hospital, Grantham and District Hospital, Pilgrim Hospital Boston, and County Hospital Louth with a total of 1,126 overnight beds. This makes the Trust one of the largest Trusts in the UK.

At the core of the Blood360.cloud installation is the powerful MSoft360 Cloud environment sitting on top of the industry leading AWS Cloud worldwide infrastructure.

Blood360.cloud is providing United Lincolnshire Hospitals NHS Trust with 8 x Blood360 T1 Kiosks controlling their fridges & agitators. The Trust is also using the state-of-the-art Blood360.cloud mobile device based Transfusion Management System providing Positive Patient Identification at the Bedside. They are currently using over 160 Apple iPhone SE mobile devices for Blood360.cloud.

Blood360 provides positive patient identification at the point of collection of Blood Products and at the Bedside helping to eliminate a number of SHOT reported incidents. The system fully supports the “Right Patient, Right Blood” mantra.
