Blood360.cloud TeleTracking Porter Module goes LIVE @ Doncaster and Bassetlaw Teaching Hospitals

12th February 2024

Doncaster and Bassetlaw Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust are the first hospital to go LIVE with the real-time Blood360.cloud TeleTracking Porter Module.

The Blood360.cloud team have worked closely with the TeleTracking team to integrate their award winning Porter Management software with Blood360.cloud.

The Blood360.cloud App now provides Doncaster and Bassetlaw Teaching Hospitals with a real-time Porter requesting system that can be performed at the Patients bedside.

This Blood360.cloud and TeleTracking integration means that key ward based Clinicians can remain on ward rather than leave their colleagues to go and fetch valuable Blood Units for their Patients. This integration improves ward efficiency and improves the safety of their patients by keeping Clinicians on the ward.

The Blood360.cloud Porter App module works by allowing the Clinician to request a Unit of Blood to be delivered to their ward at the click of a button on their Android mobile device at the bedside. Once TeleTracking has received the request from the Blood360.cloud App it will send real-time updates regarding the collection in a similar fashion to how major logistics firms update the public on the delivery of a parcel.

The Blood360.cloud App will update the Clinician with short status updates on the screen and with a buzz on their mobile device. This allows the Clinician to prepare for the arrival of the Blood Unit once physically collected.

Matt McAlister, Managing Director of MSoft360 said, “We are very excited that Doncaster and Bassetlaw Teaching Hospitals have now gone Live with this important enhancement to Blood360.cloud that improves efficiency for their Clinicians and safety for their Patients.”

About TeleTracking.

MSoft TeleTracking

TeleTracking’s integrated healthcare operations platform combines comprehensive technology solutions with clinical expertise to optimise access to care, streamline care delivery and connect transitions of care. We provide true interoperability between acute, non-acute, affiliated, and non-affiliated facilities allowing health systems to think more about the patients they treat than just the beds they occupy.

TeleTracking’s solutions provide true operational visibility, regardless of the EMR, that address virtually every point along the care continuum, creating shared enterprise-level situational awareness, while improving workflows, better utilising scarce resources, and attracting and retaining patients.

By connecting previously disconnected care settings, we help hospitals and health systems capture and operationalise data to automate workflows, and influence data-driven process improvement through shared, real-time analytics and improved communication.
